Hi Guys,

Forgive me as I'm a complete Revit Newbie and this is the first project I've used Revit on.

I Need to create a Ground beam with a toe on it to support some facing brickwork... does anyone have a family they've made up already or point me in the direction of a tutorial? Was going to model the toe as a seperate beam running next to the main footing but thought this defeats the point a bit! bottom of the beam and toe need to be flush and ideally the width and depth of the toe should be adjustable independently from the main beam dimensions.

I'm assuming it's not overly complicated but I don't have time on this project to play with the family creation and editing tools Sad

Oh and I'm in the uk so metric would be preferred Smile

Cheers and much appreciated

Ad.

Forgot to add that it's concrete... I tried modifying the standard concrete rectangular beam profile but but failed and don't have the time to play with it like I said before.

Cheers :D

Try using a foundation wall and add a wall footing. There is a footing available already with a toe on it.
