Can someone tell me how to change wood materials in Revit Architectural 2011? I have a wood material on file that I need to use in a project.........

Albert I don't have Revit here to show you with an image but i think you gonna understand... after you select a material>duplicate then in Render appearence click on the image, then you can select the folder and the file (image...) of that new material you want to apply....

This was a little harder to find then in 2010...look at attached image

  • This is in your HELP
  • Create a new material name by copying something close and renaming
  • Under manage / materials, replace the ender appearance using something similar to what you want
  • To use a new image file, click on the image and the texture editor comes up
  • Click on the source and it will turn color and you can search for a new image file
  • You do a similar process for the bump file if you need it.
