Part way through project and we want to add splices. We did so by creating duplicate columns in the same place and then dropping the top of one set and raising the base of the other. This was in an attampt to retain the connectiviy of the framing already created. It was reasonably successful except the pile caps were attached to the ones with the bases that moved - bit of a job to reset them because of the many levels the caps were at. Does anyone have a good reliable work flow to do this so the information created is not lost?
