morning all. i am hoping someone can help me out with this. i have searched for similar problems here and on the net but can't seem to find any similar issues.

i have an annotation family that i have nested into a detail component family that is then nested into another family, but when i am in the 3rd family the annotation will not show. I believe it is annotation related as any other object i put in the family shows with now issues. see images. the family is there as you can see in the 2nd image when hovering over where it was placed.. it just doesn't' show. 

 any ideas??
