I hope you can see the pink line in the attached picture. Anyways, I've here drawn a Path which is 4000 mm. I've made the glass panels ~ 990-1000 mm, so I should be able to fit 4 of em in there. But I can't find out how to do it. !? Do anyone have any tips for how to solve this? And also how to sort other lengths etc? Because either you would go with one length eg. 1000 mm Panels, that would be cut of in the end of the path (is this possible?) OR you i thought about going with eg. 1000 mm panels in the middle, and then in the end add different sized panels to end of the path. (But a problem here is to set the offset?)

looking at your railing i would make the class pannel in one continues panel and make the devisions with balusters, to put balusters on the start and end, just make and assign a baluster in the railing propertys @ balusters, start and end baluster. gl

Did you use the correct template to make your panels?

Railings in Revit are in need of drastic improvement. That said you can learn a lot about them from Phil Read's AU class handout. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/125962/AB114-1.pdf  you need to cut-paste address as hyperlinks don't work with Safari on Mac on this site) Also, I do many "railings" as curtain walls or as a hybrid between curtain walls and railings using the best features of both. Phil covers a lot of this in his hand out. Phil used to work for Autodesk and is in my opinion the top Revit guru of all time. I learned most of my Revit skills from Phil while I worked with him at Autodesk.

I agree with Tom above. Whilst it is possible to create the railing with the railing tool (if you are a mathematical godlike genius), sometimes using the curtain wall tool with custom mullions is more flexibility (spread to fix, max spacing, etc), especially during early design stage, when the design is not finalised.
