Hello .I just started my first interior project with Revit .But i found strange problem i cannot host ceiling hosted components at all. I tried with already made components as well as my own .When ever I select a component to place it doesn't snap to the ceiling be it curved or straight.

Are you placing the lights in a reflected ceiling plan view?

also you have to place a ceiling. you can't create a floor and included the ceiling as a component of the floor. not that you have done that, just checking.

what do you mean be it curved or straight, the ceiling or the light?
