The floor plans are part of an office tower. We have 9 different floor plans, only one of them is typical for about 40 stories. My task is to figure out how to show two options for each floor plan (the main one is divided into two offices, the intended other option is to have three offices). I've looked into design options, but it seems to be very complicated and probably works much easier for things like masses.

We also need to have the second option's three offices labeled appropriately, with floor areas show up in the room tags, I don't know if that's possible with design options.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, before I start to dabble with design options, which looks like will take up a lot more time than my boss would have liked me to take to do such a thing.

Thanks again, you're always helpful!

coreed is absolutely right - use design options.    And they are not for masses although they can be used there as well.  You will also find them relatively simple after awhile.
