WWHub site moderator\|\|\| Joined: Tue, May 16, 2006 13079 Posts	There is a big difference here. Drafting views are 2D - detail views are model based. Drafting views are portable but they have nothing to do with the model. Detail views are not portable. Detail views can be all 2D or part 2D or all 3D. Which do I prefer - BOTH ! Use drafting details for standard details that are not unique to a project. Use detail views when you want to use the advatages of model based views.
