Hi, I'm currently using Revit Architecture 2009. The only way I can embed other files currently is if I upload them on the web, and hyperlink them in the URL (identity parameter). Is there any way I can 'hyperlink' pdf or excel files from Revit components to files within my computer, even when there's no internet connection? I tried but nothing opens if it's not online. I'm asking this because I would like to try using the 3D model as a 'map' to find other data. Thanks in advance!

You are using th URL parameter under type properties I assume. You can use this same parameter for mapping to a file on your system - just put in the complete path.
