Here is the problem: I've drawn a commercial building floor plan and placed room tags in all the rooms. When I move the crop region, the tags stay visible outside the new boundary. Also, the structural grid bubbles do not all move with the edge of the boundary. I'm using Revit 8. How can I turn off the room tags in just the area outside the new boundary?

Delete the room tags outside of the crop region. Annotations are not effected by the crop region.
For the grids once applying a crop region the grid's extents should automatically shift to 2D extents if they extend beyond the crop region boundaries. So you can drag the end points to where you desire without effecting other views.

Thanks Mr. Spot!
If I have a 150,000 sf floor plan, then I'll need to create duplicate views of the whole plan and crop the different areas - keeping the room tags where appropriate - and insert those at the scale I want onto sheets. Not very elegant.
Yes, the grids moved together after I locked that one rogue bubble to another grid line.
