I downloaded a group of Revit families from Revit City a few days ago. I had a problem opening them from my explorer but i came to find out that they needed to be re-saved in my 2010 version. Now that they are saved I can not delete the extension files (ie. Diffuser.0001.rfa). It sits and reads and reads and reads the file and won't delete. Some of the files freeze and re-start my explorer. How can I delete these files?

Use the Unlocker, is a software.. look in the web...

Heres something to perhaps further complicate things. I can not right click to access the unlocker and the unlocker does not seem to be working. All i do is high light the file by clicking once on it and my explore says there is an error and resets its self. i try to highlight something else for the unlocker and and it does not seem to want to use it. I've granted it permission to run but perhaps i'm just not doing something right. I'm not claiming to be a computer wiz, this is the very first time I have ever posted a forum, but there is something truly weird going on with some of these family files.
