why are your first floor walls going through the cut plane of your second floor? Make sure they are not taller than they should be... Also, the hide/isolate tool is only for temporary use, it doesn't work for printing and goes away as soon as you close the view.

what it is, is that when i attach a first fl;oor wall to a gable roof it now raises into the second floor cut plane. a common example in my area would be a garage on the house that has a gable on it, so the wall tops out at second floor bearing so i them attach the top to the gable roof over the front garage wall.
do you now anything about my other post about window and door numbering is that something i need to place in the family or do i need to change it per project. i get confused with type and tyoe mark since both are different numbers. it seems to pull the type mark rather than type.
