I want a dwg from revit to export into autocad so that everything in revit dwg automatically is assigned to the layers the company has been using in autocad for years.... so when i plot the dwg, it properly assigns to the correct line weights and colors based on our .ctb plot style.

make sense? any ideas?

Saw that, assumed that is where I would begin.  Can i create a company standard to apply to the layer settings in all future projects too? (Much like I can press the load button in the export layers dialog box and load the AIA, ISO, Singapore and British Standards)

Change that in your "Template" file, then every time you create a project in that template, those Export CAD properties are already created, no need to change again...

What is the difference in the "Projection" and "Cut" when assigning layer names and color IDs to each category (in the export layers dialog box)?
