Hi Everyone, I just upgraded to 2011 yesterday and everything seems good with the exception of keyboard shortcuts. I thought the little dialog box was pretty slick but after changing and adding my usual shortcuts, I find that only a few of them work. I use "A" for align, which works just fine. I have always used "D" for the tape measure tool (from the AutoCAD days of the Distance command). When I type "D", I get dimensions. Trim for me is "T", but it activates the tag command. In the older versions I could adjust the hierarchy of these and had no problems. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Cole

The standard shortcut for D and T where probebly already taken by the above mentioned commands, did you look and check if they wherent set to the same shortcut key?

I found out that the keyboard shorcuts are supposed to be two characters long in 2011 (really lame).  In order to make the "D" work I had to delete any other shortcut that starts with "D".  It's pretty annoying but I don't think there is anything I can do about it.

Have you considered doubling the letter so you can continue to use othe "D" shortcuts? Try using "DD" for distance, "AA" for align... etc.
