hi everyone,
I've done some extruded masses, an d now I am trying to modify their heigh. for some of the it worked without any problem ( by changing depth in properties), and the others don't want to do extrude! and when I modify their depth, I get the following message: " Error - cannot be ignored . Base sketch for roof is invalid". Is anyone familiar with this problem? what should I do, before I get desparate and build everything all over again?
thanks,I am desparate for now...

When your changing the depth of the extruded mass associativities of a roof are being pushed out of shape to a point where the sketch cannot be created.
Best bet would be to copy and paste same place for the roof, which hopefully will remove in constraints that may be linked to the mass. Then change the extrusion depth.
If you still have the error. Edit the roof sketch, select all lines and copy to the clipboard. Now delete the roof, adjust your mass then create a new roof and paste aligned the sketch back into it.
This is all going on the assumption that your not using the roof by face as well.
