I am using Revit Architecture 2010, and I created a floor plan with dimensions and details. When I went to make a callout of it for greater detail (the scale wouldn't fit on my sheets), it removed all of my dimension lines. Any idea how to get them to show in the callout view? Thanks for your help!

Notes, detail lines, tags, filled regions and detail elements ...in other words, all 2D elements, are view specific. So, we you create a call-out, you can copy to clipboard any of these items you want from the parent view and then paste same place in the callout view. This process also works in reverse. NOTE: With dimensions and tags, the element being dimesnioned or tagged, must be in the view in order for these items to be visible when pasted.
