Now i've been googling, reading the F1, but i haven't been able to do a good dormer opening. Someone who knows and extreme in depth manual for how to do it? It has to cut the roof 90 degrees too, not both cuts straight down. Cheers

Creater your main roof... create your dormer roof w/ walls and with top/bottom attached to the main roof. now go to the proper view (roof or site view - where you can see the whole main roof/dormer, use this procedure only if you created your dormer roof by using roof by footprint, otherwise go to elevation view if you use roof by extrusion). Now go to Modelling>Opening>Dormer Opening... and just follow the status bar on the lower left corner.
