> - What do you mean syntax - PI is PI ... it is a number - as you have written it.

If in a formula, I would like to use something that the system knows is pi.  Autodesk has included syntax for square roots, absolute values, logarithms, exponential powers ... but what about the all important PI.  I have looked and cannot find ... I have tried both pi and PI and Pi in the formulas.

Available functions and the syntax for their use is given.  The value assigned to PI is not but this is no big issue.  Just use a number with the number of places that you want.

create your own variable/shared parameter "PI" and set it equal to 22/7

This is what I ended up doing.  I personally would prefer to keep my shared parameters to a minimum but if it has to be done ... so be it.

 Thank you.
