RAC 2011

does anyone know why all the material images

in the material library are faded and colorless

and near impossible to see what they are?

not to mention that's how they render by default..

yet the image on the render appearance

tab under generic looks great..  WHAT IS GOING ON HERE??????

Yes I sometimes get the same problem with brickwork. I would like to find out where there is detailed guidance on 

on images and changing their appearance.
