I am detailing spray foam insulation and need a detail component that is adjustable--definitely for length and ideally for width--though not necessary. I've toyed with the idea of visibility parameters and repeating components but that limits it to fixed predetermined lengths, when I would much prefer something that stretches on an instance basis. The jagged edge doesnt necessarily need to be quite so...jagged, so in other words if creating a repeating pattern is the solution then that would be acceptable--I just don't want the pattern to have to dictate the length of the component. Any ideas/advice? Thanks!

You might ry a repeating detail where the rough face starts and ends in the same vertical plane and that has invisible lines top and bottom. You could assign a depth (type) parameter and have multiple types.

Just did that, and used "Maximum Spacing" for the layout parameter, so it adjusts to whatever I want. Thanks!
