I'm trying to create a standing seam roof. I created a roof by footprint, then changed the family to a sloped glazing roof type, created a mullion, applied it properly, and here are my results. I'd like to make it look like the panels are all continuous, and I'd like the mullions to meet properly at the ridge. Any suggestions? See images below.

I suggest you quit monkeying around with all these "workarounds" and stick to the intent of the software.  Workarounds will come back to bite you in the curse eventually.  Use a material with a standing seam surface pattern and split face the cap flashing.  You've probably got some old fart boss telling you how revit is not showing those seams exactly how they will be built and threatening to go back to AutoCad.  Rest assured that these old Cad drafters will be phased out soon, because what we produce with Revit is a thousand times better than what can be done with Cad, even if your standing seam is not drawn to the gnat's curse.

"You've probably got some old fart boss telling you how revit is not showing those seams exactly how they will be built and threatening to go back to AutoCad..."

i cant help myself to comment on this...

SOOOOOOOOO TRUE in my company, even those drafter who don't know how to use revit keep throwing their criticism and keep yelling why our company is going through all these troubles of swimming on strange sea while we are still get paid in autocad?!
