I installed Revit Architecture 2010 on my computer which is a Dual Core with 2 GB of RAM and running XP Pro. After running the program and drawing some walls and doors, suddenly it crashes and a black screen shows up with a legend saying: "An error has occurred while drawing the contents of this window. This window shall be closed" And of course I have to close the program.

I installed Revit on a 4 core computer with 3 GB and running Vista and the program runs ok without crashing.

What is happening here? Somebody knows?

Thank you,

I don't think it is the lack of RAM memory. I also installed Revit 2010 on a 1 GB computer and it runs like a charm. Actually now my Quadcore 3 GB computer is extremely slow after installing Revit and now today Revit is not working anymore. It crashes att he splash screen.

Any ideas?

Are using "Graphics Mode"  "use Hardware Acceleration(Direct3d)" in the options>graphics tab? if so turn it off and see what happens

I had that problem when my graphics card didn't support it.
