i have an object as a family and i have applied materials to it but then when i load it into my project and render it the material doesnt show up. does anyone know what im doing wrong please. thanks

You would have to manage the materials in the project that you're loading the family into, the project paramaters controls the rendering settings

i think iv done that, iv set up a parameter in the family and then used that for the material in the project but it just wont seem to work

PROJECT RULES - Check in your project, in materials, the name of the materials you assign in the family, then check in the Render Appearence what texture you have there....
