i'm having trouble sloping my roofs.  i'm using revit structure 2010.

i created a floor and added in elevation points and a split line.  on plan, it cuts the floor into two parts, although they are part of one entity.  in section and 3d view, it looks correct, but it doesn't look right on plan.

i don't know how to do a screenshot in pdf format, so i exported into an image, and did a screencap in word.  can anyone help me how to do that, so i can better illustrate my problem?

i've looked through other threads and none have seemed to help me.

 Bah!!!

The printscreen key puts your current screen image onto the clipboard, and you can paste it into MSpaint or photshop with ctrl-V.   simplest way to get an idea across, or off of revit at least.

If you've got adobe acrobat, you can then print from photoshop to pdf format, but I don't believe there's any direct way to create a pdf screenshot, or the like.  I've got a fairly low opinion of the format, myself.

Look for the free screen capture program called: Screenhunter.  It produces a very small sized gif file that is ideal for posting.
