..........is there a way to place existing doors on a plan and not have them automatically numbered? I keep getting duplicate number warnings now that I am going through and re-numbering the new doors so they are sequential when viewed in the plan.

Doors are numbered from the last number used and that's up to you..... Existing doors ... Sequence them differently like E1 and the next will then be E2... When you want to go back to new doors, go back to the next number in your new sequence like if you stopped at 8, then use 9 and the next will be 10... If you want to re-order your doors later, start with a high number like 100... Then renumber in the order you want starting with 1.
