Very new to Revit; so this is a basic question. I have the structural framing in place and am adding a floor (it's a garage below grade beneath four floors of condos)
Is there a way to sketch in the floor slab around the column footprints without having to draw around each column? Currently the floor is cutting through each column
I have the column base offset set below the level of the floor slab.
Thanks

Is Roly not there today?
There are a couple of ways to tackle the problem. The best advice though is to choose the method that is reflective of how the condition actually happens in real life. You could try to "cut" the slab with the column using the cut geometry tool. You could place an opening around one column, group and array it, or you could edit the floor sketch to go around earch column (my last choice if I were doing it).
Call me at JMA if needed (ask Fisher for the number)

I tend to just use join geometry for these conditions.
