I am trying to do something very simple.  I import a JPG file onto a sheet.  I resize it just the way I want it on the page.  Then I decide to change the image for another one, but I want to keep the same size / box /outline that I just set.  Is this possible, and if so, how do you do it?

Thanks!

I'm currently trying to do the same thing.  Is there a solution to this?  I'm using architecture 2010

I have always imported my new image just above the old so that I could resize it, then drag them both down so the new was in the old location and delete the old.  No other way that I know of.

as far as i can tell this is still the case, which sucks. I have about 100 photos in a project. each is in its own drafting view so that it can be tagged in various views.  As it turns out, the photos all printed too dark. There is no way to lighten the images in revit (autocad has this feature). so i :

  1. run a batch in photoshop to lighten them all.
  2. NOW i need to replace all the photos in the revit file.
  3. i have to go into each view and place the new lighter photo
  4. resize it,
  5. move it to the right spot
  6. delete the old one.

I wish there was a way to link in the photos like an XREF so that i just have to click something that says 'update all'. Im using RAC2011, maybe there is a solution to this in a newer version?

I'd rather be riding at whistler. or highland. thats good too.
