I started using Revit this semester and I am trying to apply materials to a booth that I have edited.  I can't seem to get the fabric that was first on the booth to go away.  I have tried to add individual material parameters between the table and the booth, but don't know what I'm doing wrong.  How can i get the materials I want to be recognized and remove the fabric?

Once loaded into a project, the material description is also loaded.   No matter how many times you change the familiy, if the material definition is already in the project - THE PROJECT RULES!  ... change it in the project.

I don't know how to do that yet.  But thank you for getting me headed in the right direction.  I will play around some and see what i come up with.

Although I could give you the answer directly, that would be a disservice.  Learn to use your HELP using simple, one word searches.  In this case " materials" .... have fun.
