hello

i'm kind of stuck here ppl. pls tell me your way of going around things like that. the unsulation of the roof usualy goes only until the exterior wall....after exterior wall it is thinner, because there's no insulation anymore.... how do you do that? do you create to seperate roofs: one until the exterior wall exterior surface, and the second is from exterior surface of exterior wall to the point where it overlaps .... look at the link http://www.paroc.lt/channels/lt/building+insulation/cad+designs/flat+roofs/ssm02.asp of the result that i want to acheave

Not everything has to be modeled.  We handel this information in our details.  Remember, when using mode sections and details, you can individually modify layers of walls, floors, roofs and ceilings using the edit cut profile tool.  That modification is not 3D but is 2D - that view only.
