'm trying to do something in Revit which can easily be done in Excel. Attached document Temp.pdf was done in excel and i'm trying to replicate it in Revit. The Revit version is just one block (Block 2) in the excel sheetI cant seem to get the gross leasable area and the efficiency categories to work. The calculated value i used for it was (Area / 1) - Waste Recycling - Corridor Area. but it gives me 0. what i really need to do is be able to use the total gross building area and subtract the corridor and the waste rooms, but i cant seem to figure out how. the efficiency is based off of the gross leasable area, so thats not working correctly either. i really need some help with this

Revit is not Excel so don't try and make it do what excel does. Check out these in your HELP and look how these were done. Creating an Area Analysis Schedule Creating a Mass Floor Schedule

so what you're saying is what i'm asking cant be done in Revit. Every developer has their own way of showing this information, and we have to comply with it. you would think multiplying or dividing the total square footage would be part of the program. I dont want to have to manually update this information especially in the beginning stages of a project when things change daily. there has to be some kind of work around. the examples you suggested are very simple & basic

You can get the information you want from Revit schedules if you are willing to learn how. But the format will never be what you showed. If you need that, I suggest you export the info to excel and produce an image file that you import into Revit. That's what we do when we have shuch limiting requirements.
