Okay - i know that there are a ton of posts on .pats out there already but i have another question. It relates to the fire ratings somewhat but is a general question on creating .pat files. I have tried and tried to mess around with creating a new .pat file with a repeating number or letter - numbers/letters are of course created using lines). i have gotten really close but nothing really is working the way that i want it. Has anyone else attempted this? I would like to hear everyones thoughts/comments... Thanks! Scott

I haven't had much luck with making my own .pat files, especially with complex shapes like numbers and letters. Now as for the graphics of highlighting fire rated walls, I have tried a few different things in the past. Are you trying to get a fill pattern that your rated walls will take on when shown in a life safety plan? I have used a Filter in the past to override the cut pattern graphics of all walls with a given Fire Rating value, but I haven't seen a fill pattern that works in the way you describe here. I wish I could be more helpful. Good luck!
