So I am trying to carve a arched top storefront window into an existing wall.  I draw some lines on the wall to match the appropriate outline.  Then I go to curtain system by line choose my lines and the curtain wall is created minus my arch.  It squares the whole thing up.  The Geometry shows the arch but the actual glass or "storefront" is not there.  Also when attempting to attach mullions to the first arch they too refuse to go into the arch and are placed 90 degrees to each other.  So I can't get the mullions to arch either.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Note: In the image the dashed line is the created curtain wall having excluded the arch.

Edit the profile of your curtain wall to the arch shape.

When creating a curtain wall by lines if I click on the curtain wall outline an edit profile box does not come up. As in the screen shot image with the window highlighted there seems to be no editing options?

My work around was to go to plan view, draw a storefront wall within the existing wall then go to the elevation and change the profile and then delete the automatically placed mullions and replace them with ones that match the configuration I need.

This still seems like a round about way to create an arched top storefront system...?

That was not a work around - just the wrong way.  If you do a non-automatic curtain wall, you don't get any mullions or grids, just the outline.  Then you add grids, mullions and panels where you want them.  I don't know why you would start with CW by line...but I guess I just never do that since it's so easy to edit the profile.

BTW ... If you used an automatic curtain wall - you may see the grids come back that you thought you deleted.
