With as small a project as this is, you should be able to do it in one file - that is if you can place all the buildings and not want to move them later.  Don't worry about the differential angle between buildings.  You can rotate the view for each model plan so that it is still square with the sheet and to work on it.

Yes - this is called file linking and you can do that.  You don't have to search the net about that.  There is a lot of information on how to do that in your HELP.

I recommended one file because your project will be so small.

Agreed.  Do this in one project.  You might want to enable worksharing so that you can effectively turn off the buildings you do not wish to see or work on.

You can link your projects inserting them into one main project in the proper location, rotation and elevation then bind them in.  They will become a group which you can then ungroup.  You can read about this in your HELP.  You should experiment with this in copied files and see what happens.

You can do several things regarding views.  You can have your seperate buildings in seperate worksets and just turn that workset off where appropriate or as you already know, just place your view callouts and crop regions where they will show only what you want.

Once you get your buildings into one file, you can then simply drag-select an entire building, right click, and select "move to workset:"

Then, under the collaborate tab, you have a workset dialog box that allows you to manage the active workset, gray out or hide innactive worksets.
