This Professional Certification seems worthwhile.  Is it?  Or is it Autodesk's idea in getting more money?  Is it truly useful for me in my career and the firm I'm currently with?

Thanks,

Lorne

i think cerification let companies know that you have some basic ablity that they start with and develop into the type of Revit user they need. the range and varied ways companies are using this program could never be covered by any one cerification program. but basic users skills can. But degreees and certifications are stating points for a lot of companies because that just the nature of the beast. if not, why college?  i think even at your present company it will show them that your motivated and want to move forward with the company and Revit.

It seems certifications are just part of the process now and for new comers are a "MUST". At the last AU someone got 10 or 11 cerifcations. i can't remember the exact number. Whether or not it's Autodesk idea to get more money i cannot say. But if your looking for work, some companies are looking for certifications.
