I am new at making complex (or at least complex to me) revit families.  I have two conveyors I need to make for a processing plant.  We use revit arch and mep 2010.  The gooseneck conveyor needs to be able to be height and width adjustable, but the angle is fixed at 55 degrees.  I need to have 'fins' perpendicular to the belt that keep the product from falling down the conveyor.

Questions:

How do I get the fins at a fixed distance of 8" to add or subtract as the conveyor gets taller.

How do I get the top rollers and drip pans to move with the top of the conveyor

Regarding the second conveyor I have been able to adjust for width and lenght, but do not know how to make it adjust of the angle of incline.

 Any help would be appreciated.

 Thanks,

Nathan

To learn how to build families, there is a lot of information at this location.  In particular, look at the family guides - it will help you especially with angles in families.

Thank you...the video helps a lot.  They say a picture is worth a thousand words...video is worth a million.  I should now be able to get this to work.  I will give it a whirl.
