hi all wizards etc...

what woudl be the best way to creat e wall that varies in height that runs along a pathway- (as in image) taking into account that it may be a 'site family' component... is there a way to create a family of - walls mayeb that will automatically attach to the topography...-

same as with parking lines do thi-- maybe there is  way to do it with walls... i guess they woudl have to be in smaller increments.. but that will then create lots of work for placing them each time in all angles -lets not mention curves...

anywa help is appreciated

eli

I edited the profile of a wall I had like that but you could also do it in individual wall sections.  Model it like you want it built... does the top slope or step? Mine was brick and was stepped.

i guess i am looking for a smarter tool thatwont require prfile dediting for each wall-

the bottom is not the issue (for rendering purposes) since the bottom may as wel be 10m under topographical level, but the top should be a consistant slope...

if it was a brick wall as in image-it would require lots of editing to follow path ofth water stream and the top level would need to have a constant slope (as per topographical solope)

AND!!!- while i am at it-- any ideas about how to manipulate render maps to curve? i remember some part of the 2010 new tps showing patten that changes (streches) to shape around a corner of a roof overhang-- will try find image fo this topic..

thanks
