We have an rcp layout that you can add dimensions too.  We created a callout for it. Inside the callout view it wont allow us to select anything in it. The lights and registers are there cause we can grab them in the rcp   but in the callout its like they dont exist we can see them but we cant select them and because the families dont register we cant dimension anything in the view.  There are no worksets other than the default one, no options, the view range is set the same as the rcp.  Any ideas of what is going on?  I made multiple callouts from the rcp and none allow us to select anything in them.

What version are you in?

I can't recreate the problem - everything works here.  Standard ceiling plan - callout is also a ceiling plan.

We are using 2010.  I have tested a sample file and the callout works fine in there. This particular project the callouts for the rcp do not and only from the rcp the floor plan etc are fine just the rcp callouts.
