My office is currently running Revit 2010 on Macs, using Parallels.  I am trying to save the file I have been working on as the central file

on our server so another team memeber can also create a local file.  I save the file as a central file on the server, then make my local file

on my computer.  The the other team member tries to open the central file; he recieves an error that the central file has been moved

from the path and must be resaved as the central file if we would like it to remain the central file.  If he does this, then when I open it, I

recieve the same error, and this will continue to go back and forth.

I believe this has something to do with how Parallels must go through our individual Macs to get to the servers, so the path through my

Mac is not being found when he tries to open the file. This is just an assumption - I really have no clue and need help!!

This is our first project in 2010, but we were able to work on two projects together using 2009, so I know that this can be done, but we

are having trouble.

That does sound like a network path issue. We were having the same problem here, it turned out we had inadvertently mapped our network drived differently. The network paths from each local machine needs to be exactly the same.
