I am currently using the generic Single-Flush door in one of my projects. What I would like to do is add a threshold to the door (basically just 2 lines at the faces of the wall) that has the ability to be turned on and off. For example, I want to use the same door family for all the single flush doors in the rooms but the door to the bathroom will have a threshold denoting a change in material. I am not sure how to do this. Do I need to create a nested family for the threshold with nominal thickness? How do I add the parameter to turn it on and off? Thanks for the help

You could do it with a nested family or just place symbollic linework in the family. I created a new sub-category for thresholds in ours so that I can turn them off in views where I don't want them to show. The visibility of this linework is controlled by a Y/N shared parameter that is instance based.
