I have a job where I am using Revit to design the space and mechanical piping, then converting it to Autocad due to everyone else wanting the ability to use it in Autocad. I am designing it in Revit due to space constraints and the ability to make accurate section views. The problem is that when I convert it, I get hundreds of lines within a simple arc or a pipe drop. A 900 SF area has 10,000 items in it. The owner and GC want to be able to edit these autocad drawings. Is there a way, or settings, to limit the number of arcs/lines without having to redraw over it? The Families and the background are blocks. Its the pipes, ducts, fittings, etc that have all the lines and arcs.
