revit 2010. i am trying to make a symbol with a keynote label inside of it. im trying to note up at site plan which we drew it in with detail lines. in the past i have made a keynote symbol with a label which let me edit instance properties to match the keyed notes list i made as a text notes in a drafting view. now i want to take that same symbol and put a keynote label so i can link it back to my keynotes. i want to be able to drop in this symbol and edit the keynote to any key note i have loaded. i want to edit the symbol not the element type properties. help me. some items dont have keynote parameters,ie fill regions, detail lines. etc.
