Im trying to bring a model group into my sheet but its not working.  Its giving me a "There is no Group that can be placed in the current view." message and I cant seem to figure out why.

What it is that im trying to do is I am in the process of doing an apartment building and there are similar apt layouts on each of the floors and I want to have a Unit Layout sheet of each of the different unit types.

 Any ideas?

thanks,

I believe your answer lies in the error message.  Try placing the group from a different view.  What view were you in?

im in my sheet that i want my unit model groups to appear in.  im trying to drag and drop them onto the sheet.

do i have to create a separate drafting view or something to bring them into and then reference them to my sheet?

Views - legends - schedules can all be placed on sheets but model elements have to be placed in the model.  Model elements and model groups can not be placed in a drafting view but detail groups can be.

Why can't I use model groups in a legend and how do I get around it?
