My problem is that when I render my railings (any type) the railings render fine the but the baluster's render black.  I have changed the materality in the family dialog box but to no avail.  They continue to render black while everything else renders fine.  Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks in adavance for you help.

Go to your Project Browser then in Families>Baluster expand and pick in the Baluster in question, right click>properties, then check if you have any "Material" parameter to change (I don't have Revit here right now)....

Typhoon,

Thanks that worked great!  I thought I had done that already but I guess not.  I have never had that problem before.

Thanks again.
