When I model a beam to column or beam to beam for some reason it will not snap to the existing member. It acts as if there is no member there to frame into. Therefore it will not show the proper cut back in plan. I have started a new project to see if it happens there also. It doesn't, so I must have unknowingly changed something somewhere. anyone have any suggestions?

Hey Shatcher, Here some ideas to go through/play around with: when you go to "Structural Settings" is the "Symbolic Cutback Distance" 3/32" or just greater than 0". When your modeling the beams is the "Placement Plane" set to the right level ex: modeling on Level 2 but the Plane is set to Level 3. Have you tried modeling in 3D vs 2D plan views and seeing if they snap that way. Are the beams your snapping to modeled correctly ex: 2'-0" Start Level Offset vs. 2'-0" z-Direction Offset Value. Hope this helps.
