Hi

I've an issue at the moment where i have a foundation that is attaching to the anayltical line of a column rather than the actual column. The column is a steel angle and is shown going from Level 1 to Level 2 but the analytical line is shown going from level 2 to 30m below level 1. The foundation is a 1 pile isolated pile cap.

Any ideas on why this is happening and any ideas on a solution?

Thanks

Lewis

I believe this is the Analytical autodetect.  Go to the element properties of the column and scroll all the way down.  At the bottom is the analytical projection...I think.  Modify this from auto-detect to weither bottom of column or to level one.

Hope this works for you

Thanks for the quick reply, unfortunately that is one thing i've already tried, and even though the actual analytical line moves the foundation still wont.

 Any other ideas?

 Thanks
