I"m having a brain fart. How do I rotate a pattern to go from horizontal to vertical? specifically 'wood board' model pattern. I recall doing this before but cannot remember what I did now. Please help!

I tried align but to no avail. i tried aligning the wood board longest line with a nearby vertical wall (to make the pattern go to 90 degrees). Is there another element i should create to use as an alignment?

If you can find any part of the pattern that you can tab select, select it and rotate.
