Hello.revit 2009

I used the roof tool with no defined slopes to create a flat roof.in the image you see that the roof is shown 10" thick exactly. whereas the assembly clearly shows much at 1'8". so what gives? Why isnt the roof being modeled 1'8" thick. and not stuck at 10"
