I was adding levels to project via an elevation view. Everything looks like I need it to appear in elevation view. However when I cut a building section the level marks are no longer present in that view. Does anyone know what is happening? I check in the visibility graphics menu and it shows that the levels should be visible. I

If the Levels catagory is turned on in VG, it's likely an extents issue. If the 3D extents of the level (or grids) don't go through the crop of the section, they won't be shown. In the section view properties turn off Crop View and change Far Clipping to No Clip and see if they show up.

It seems that everything goes through the section cut, so I am not sure what is going on but I did try what you suggested and it worked. The only thing is that it would be nice to have a clip portion to the section cut. Is there something that I might have done work with creating the levels that would make this happen?

Thanks for your response

When I sugested to turn the crop and clip off, that was just so you could find the levels. Once you find them and get the extents in the right place you turn the crop and clip back on. Somthing that I do in all my projects is set up a couple of elevations cutting well outside the extents of my project (more if the project has non orthoganal parts) and are not cropped or clipped. They don't go on any sheets, but they give me somewhere to go to check on the extents of my levels and grids.
