If I build a exterior stacked wall (stucco wall over 18" concrete foundation), I would like to show the correct detail for a crawl space, connecting the ext wall to the first floor. So for a crawl space I need two 2x on top of the conc wall, and then the floor over the two 2x. The floor will have the structural & finish elements (1/2" carpet over, 5/8" ply over 9" I joists). How can I show this in a building section? My best guess is to have the floor at level 0, and have the foundation conc wall stoping 10 1/8" below level 0, leaving room to draw the 2x's. how would you do it? am I putting too much detail in to the wall section?
