Attached is an image of what is happening. I have a curved wall in plan that also needs an angled edge on one side. In order to create this form i had to use a mass instead of a wall. Walls do not seem to be editable in profile once they are curved so i went with mass. The mass has a brick material associated to it. The hatch once applied is streching to match the shape of the wall which screws up the masonry coursing and it becomes skewed. Is there a way to control the surface pattern so it wont do that?

yes i have tried switching my surface pattern to drafting from model and tried all 3 options. It still skews the pattern.

Have you tried applying pattern as paint? Create a brick material and use paint command to attach it to the surface.

I've not done what you are doing so I can't address that issue but I had using a mass. Why not use a wall and just use a void to cut the profile. Really easy. In-place family - type wall - void.... and before finishing the void, set the wall that it cuts.

I will try the method you suggested but it seems like there should be an option for visual control of hatches so they dont skew based off the shape. Thanks for the advice.

Maybe im not getting this method you suggested. If i create the wall then create an in place family and make a void it wont allow me to cut the geometry to the wall and finish the mass. Can you put an example of a revit file showing this method.
